I specialise in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, which is an effective treatment for many anxiety conditions, including fears and phobias, panic attacks, irritable bowel syndrome, personal performance anxiety, smoking cessation, insomnia, weight loss, mild to moderate depression, plus many more. The Government has given the go ahead for reflexology treatments to recommence from Monday 13th July 2020. I will be practicing again from Monday 20th July 2020 adhering to the regulations laid down by the Association of Reflexologists which covers the Governments legislation. I will be working in my external treatment room in Pakenham, Suffolk until 7th August, and thereafter I will be working from Perthshire, Scotland from Monday 14th September 2020. Everybody’s welfare and safety is of prime importance, whilst also providing you with a comfortable and enjoyable reflexology treatment.
Unwanted habits can cover a large range of behaviours, the most common of which are nail biting or picking, hair sucking or twiddling, spot scratching, excessive nose picking, etc. These come under the heading of anxiety conditions. Sometimes we don’t even know we are doing them, but others do!
You will be asked to fill out a questionnaire about your unwanted habit, which will be the basis upon which we will structure the therapy. You will be asked to keep a habit diary. I will help you with imagery of the habit and overcoming it. This will be coupled with relaxation and desensitisation, and other practices as required.
